A Late Fall, Early Winter Refresh

I’ve always believed that greenery is essential in any space—it brings life, energy, and a sense of presence. Even as I’ve scaled back my seasonal decorating over the years, switching out stems and branches remains the one thing I consistently do. It’s such a simple change, but it instantly refreshes a room and I love that it helps usher in the new season in a beautiful way.

Now that we’re shifting from late fall into early winter, it’s the perfect time to swap out those warm autumn hues for something cozier. Think textured branches, evergreen sprigs, or delicate stems with a hint of frost. I love how these small touches help bridge the seasons, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere indoors just as the outdoors begins to wind down.

One of the best things about faux stems is their low maintenance—they’ll look beautiful all season without wilting or fading. Plus, good-quality faux greenery can last for years, making it both a practical and eco-friendly choice. Here are a few examples, and if you’re on the hunt for some fresh greenery, take a look at a few favourite options of mine below.
